Age-Based Golf Instruction
Junior golf is just part of First Tee. Through our program that strengthens character, kids will learn golf and life skills that stay with them into the rest of their lives, like:
- Conflict resolution
- Emotional intelligence
- Setting up step-by-step goals
- Appreciating diversity
- Planning for the future
Players are grouped by age, and coaches work with each player to teach and refine golf skills, providing time for on-course play.
You will be taken to the YMCA of South Hampton Roads online registration portal.

LPGA Girls Golf

Big T & Little T Tournaments
Children and adults have the opportunity to put their skills to the test, together.
Summer Camp
In golf camp for ages 5–15, campers will learn golf and valuable life skills, have fun through creative games and make new friends.
Spring Break (School's Out) Camp
No school? No problem! Ages 5-15 will enjoy a week of themed activites, golf games and more!
Adult Golf 101
Each session will focus on the various golf skills you will use while playing the game. In addition to learning the basics, you will be guided onto the golf course to put your skills into action in a casual friendly setting.
Private Lessons
Fine tune your golf game with one of our certified coaches! Learn the basics or perfect a specific skill in a one-on-one setting.
Scholarships for participation are available thanks to generous donations to the First Tee Hampton Roads annual giving campaign.
